Fire Suppression Systems
Fire suppression systems are designed to detect and extinguish fires before they spread, helping to protect people, assets and properties from damage. At Aerocom, we supply a comprehensive range of MAUS fire suppression systems, detectors which send notifications to your phone, and fire blankets for a range of environments including welding fire blankets.
These fire suppressions systems are innovative, compact, and highly effective solutions for a range of different environments.
Whether installed in an electrical cabinet, vehicle engine, or carried as a portable extinguishing solution, each unit is built for rapid activation, minimal maintenance, and long service life, ensuring you’re protected when it matters most.
What is a Fire Suppression System?
A fire suppression system is an automated system designed to detect, contain, and extinguish a fire before human intervention is needed. Unlike traditional fire extinguishers, suppression systems can activate automatically using detection sensors and deploy a specialised extinguishing agent, this can be gas, chemical agents, foam, or aerosol technologies
Our MAUS fire suppression systems activate at 170°C, releasing a potassium-based smoke which absorbs the heat of the fire, breaks the chemical compositions of the fire and extinguishes it, preventing reignition and without damaging electronics or harming the environment.
Here we have our Design Manager, Carrick, demonstrating our Fire Stixx Pro. The Stixx Pro comes with numerous benefits from 5 year product life to a less than 5 second discharge time! The compact and lightweight sticker is an easy 5 second installation which could potentially save lives and millions of pounds in damages. You can purchase yours here.

Together, the MAUS line delivers a flexible, clean, and robust defense against fire, whether in enclosures, buildings, vehicles, or workspaces.
Where to Use Fire Suppression Systems
MAUS suppression systems are ideal for environments where traditional extinguishing agents such as water, foam and CO₂, pose risk or could cause collateral damage.
These systems are ideal for use in a range of environments such as:
- Electrical enclosures, switchgear, fuse boxes, motor control cabinets
- Battery storage rooms and EV charging infrastructure
- Data centres and server rooms
- Engine bays, generator rooms, mechanical or equipment rooms
- Workshops, and small industrial zones
- Boats, motorhomes, and caravans
- Clean rooms, labs, medical equipment spaces
- Anywhere electronics, wiring, or interiors must be protected from extinguishing residue
In addition to the fire suppression devices, the MAUS Dekke series includes a range of fire blankets for a variety of different purposes, including in cars, at home and welding fire blankets. The Dekke fire blankets are ideal for smothering small surface or localised fires without letting flames or smoke spread.
